Jordan began fostering dogs through Front Street Animal Shelter in September 2022. By the end of the year, she wanted to do more so she started volunteering onsite at the shelter too. She has cleaned kennels, counseled adopters, and made social media videos to help dogs find homes. Along the way, Jordan found her place: spending time with dogs in need.
Jordan has seen the ups and downs of shelter work firsthand. In 2026, she decided to support the shelter in a bigger way by joining the Friends of Front Street Shelter board. The role lets her combine two passions: animal welfare advocacy and her years of nonprofit career experience.
Outside the shelter, Jordan enjoys reading, doing puzzles, running/working out, and spending time with friends and family.
