Jordan began fostering dogs through Front Street Animal Shelter in September 2022. By the end of the year she was looking for more ways to get involved and started volunteering onsite at the shelter. From cleaning kennels to adoption counseling to creating videos to promote adoptable animals on social media, Jordan has found her place in spending time with dogs in need.
After fostering 25 dogs and experiencing years of ups and downs while advocating for dogs at the shelter, Jordan decided to add to her support of the shelter on a macro level by joining the Friends of Front Street Shelter board in 2026. She is thrilled to combine her passion project (animal welfare advocacy) and her years of nonprofit career experience in this role.
Outside of her time at the shelter, Jordan enjoys reading, doing puzzles, running/working out, and spending time with friends and family.
